Phoenix Athletic Sports Club of Ado Ekiti will be up against Kwara Feeders of Ilorin, on Friday at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in one of the Week four contest of the Pipul TV Nationwide League One.
Phoenix will seek to consolidate on their position on the log by gunning for the maximum points having lost their first two games away against Top World FC and Offa United Football Club and with only 3 points gained with the home win last week at home versus Lubcon FC, Ilorin.
The Bola Idris tutored young side have been solid in defence but too wasteful in front of goal and the gaffer is adamant things must improve as the team has been working very hard especially on set pieces
Kwara Feeders who are currently topping the table will be looking forward to creating an upset and aiming for their first away win.
Coach Idris, will bank on the midfield duo, Ebenezer Igbekele, and Akinyemi Oluwaseyi, to form a solid fulcrum that will pivot the powerful 3 man forward comprising of the enterprising goal poacher Tolulope Ojo, Yinka Olawale and the Phoenix ASC Secondary school Cup MVP, Festus Godwin who would be playing is first game for the young side.
Nnamdi Frank replaces Olutayo Dosumu , while Jerome Chinozo and Oluwole Oguntade and Seun Ajayi will coordinate the 4 man defence line. Inspirational goalkeeper, Itiola Bamigboye, is expected to return to the goal mouth having returned from writing his WAEC examination
