The players are to be trained by a coterie of certified coaches led by Bola Idris, Femi Kumuyi, Tope Olaifa Temmy and others at four different ‘centres of excellence’, namely; Ado, Ikere, Ido and Igede- Ekiti.
Speaking on the development, Bayo Olanlege, General Manager of the team, enthused confidently that the academy slated for launch at the end of April, would help revive the fortunes of football in the state.
” PASC academy will bring about a football revolution in Ekiti state. We have a collection of top quality coaches to train these young lads.
” For a token of N1000, the lads will have the opportunity to grow and achieve their dreams as footballers. And importantly, too, we have decided to have a sweet mix of education and football at the academy,” he added.
