Phoenix ASC seals partnership deal with American club
Nationwide League One side, Phoenix Athletic Sports Club has sealed a partnership deal with top American soccer team, Super Green Football Club Eagles.
In a statement released by the Ado-Ekiti based team, the partnership with SGFC Eagles is basically a technical deal.
It reads; ” The core of the partnership is in players transfer. We want to utilise the vast network of SGFC Eagles which spreads across America and Central Europe.”
On his part, the General Manager of SGFC Eagles, Paul Akinrimisi, describes the partnership as one that would be mutually beneficial to both clubs. Adding that the management of his team are delighted to go into partnership with Phoenix ASC, a team he calls, a ” farm filled with incredible young soccer talents.”
Bayo Olanlege, General Manager of Phoenix ASC expressed that the partnership agreement is historic and one that would help the growth of Nigerian football.
” We are happy with this partnership. It is a partnership with a club run by astute professionals, who are goals oriented. Thus, PASC, is partnering opportunity,” he enthused confidently.
Meanwhile, the legal departments of both clubs are expected to complete the legal framework of the partnership in a few days.
