Phoenix welcome Lubcon in PipulTV NLO first home match

Fans and supporters of Phoenix Athletic Sports Club will welcome back their darling team at home as they battle with Lubcon Football Club of Ilorin, on Wednesday at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado Ekiti.

The young athletic side tutored by Bola Idris, are getting ready for their first home match when they welcome Lubcon FC, in a rescheduled Week 2 fixtures of the 2017 PipulTV Nationwide League One.

Phoenix played their first two games away against Top World FC and Offa United, which they lost 2-1, and 1-0 respectively.

According to the Chief Executive Officer of Phoenix, Bayo Olanlege, prominent personalities and astute football administrators in Ekiti State will watch their first home contest against Lubcon.

His Royal Majesty, the Olukere of Ikereland, Oba Ganiyu Ayodele Obasonyin, will be the Special Guest of Honour, while Vice-Chairman of Ekiti State FA, Otunba Ariyo Ayo, Mr. Adewunmi Olukayode a former GM of the Ekiti State Sports Council, Ekiti State Referees Council Chairman, High Chief Durojaye and the Director of Sports in the Ministry of Information, Youths and Sports Isaac Elegbeleye, will be Guest of Honours.
